Hi All,

Kindly write your cell # at the bottom of the form in order to receive confirmation by sms that you have been registered.
In terms of payment, the process will be via tithing slip – and categorise with ‘ysa convention 2008’ - hand to your Bishop and ask him to give us a call!

Activities to look forward to:
Beach games, karaoke night, medical perspective, motivational speaker etc.

What to bring:
soaps, towels, blankets, (it will be FFrfrReeEzing there!), some sports gear, swimming gear (if you're up to it),
notepad and pen, and yourself ofcourse!!!

Deadline date for Registration forms is 1 May, send ASAP!!!

The early bird catches the worm


Hi everyone,
Please note that the dates are still June 13-16 for the Convention - Port Edward Resort at R575 pp.
The registration forms should be flowing in as i type this message, Reps, it is your duty to make sure that the member ysa's are taken care of, give them as much information as you can. There will be an activities list going around that will inform you of what will be happening during the convention.
If you don't have a rep, select someone who will be responsible enough to communicate all things which are required. The last thing we want is to have people left behind because they did not receive proper information.

It's About Change

I come with glad tidings!

This day, well established, serves as a symbolic gesture of melting hearts , a symbolic gesture of hope and affection for others. Can you imagine how the world would be if we could all just love one another and wish each other progress and prosperity? A man has the capacity to do evil but equally so, a man has the capacity to LOVE….to really LOVE. Can we just love today? Infact, let us love forever, unconditionally.

When Push Comes to Shuv

Greetings everyone! :)

Dbn Stake will be meeting at Berea Ward this Saturday, 9 Feb at 13:00 for a way forward with the convention.

guys, it seems that all my convention plans are becoming futile. I have done my best and
I will still do as much as I can to make it through. I understand that we, as YSA’s, are not to be funded by the church as we are expected to be a working group.As the message was explained to me, we can be assisted in getting a deposit for the accommodation and thereafter we could make means to refund back the money to the church.


On that note, the last amount we received for quotation was R600.00 and trying to reduce costs, I asked if a church member could cater for us for the whole event at a cheaper
Price but at the venue (Port Edward - South Coast), they do not allow self catering.

I am reporting this so that at least you all know what we are up against. Gather yourselves so that we all recieve the same message. As soon as I receive feedback from the durbanites as to whether we should -

1. Change the date to June 13, 14, 15 and 16 or

2. Push for March 21, 22, 23 and 24

Ugrade


Hi guys!


As bad as things may seem right now, we are hopeful that things will turn out to be in our favour in just a few days. We've had so many people call in asking about the convention and what exactly is going on with the plans and activities etc.


There haven't been any major changes. The most difficult part of the planning the convention is finding a place that can accomodate about 200 people. We have done that and are awaiting the Stake's response in helping us come through.


We are hopeful and we look forward to seeing you all soon! As dark as the tunnel may seem, there's always a light right near the end.

Registration...

Hi Guys,

This is the first post for the ysa convention for 2008 and I'd like all of you to participate in it so that we can hear your views and you suggestions. Please be informed that the venue as well as the list of activities and price will be announced by the end of the week. The dates are the 21st until the 24th of March (Easter Holidays)
